WTB Monarch Model 61 16x30-36

WTB Monarch Lathe

Looking for a Monarch, ideally a Model 61. But may be interested in other models in the 13-16" x 30-36" between centers size, will look at later model 10ee as well. Will get a longer bed if the machines is in very nice shape. Trying to keep it within 3hrs of Brooklyn, NY, if possible.

Preferably well tooled, but for the right machine I am willing to get it without tooling. If you have something please pm me. Nothing that is clapped out please.

Not sure if you saw it, but a 1948 Series 60. A bit of a rare 14" with a 16-1/2" actual. The older qcgb with tumbler lever. From this thread:

Not a toolroom lathe though. No taper attachment, no leadscrew reverse.

Not to be debbie downer but ya know, for the amount of time most guys actually spend driving these things, these fixations on groovy accessories might be a little misplaced

I use a steady rest and the taper attachment quite a bit.

Been eyeing this guy but will not be making the drive. Guy was asking $3k but its now make an offer so less than $3k.
