We've got an r&d project coming up later this summer and need to source a few pieces of equipment. Since we have a couple months to find suitable machines, I thought it'd be good to post the list here first:
1. Universal cylindrical grinder, 10x20-ish. The Landis 1R or the 24" 2R would both be good examples.
2. Rolling mill. 2-high, motorized. We're working with <1" wide, 0.035 brass strips that need to be rolled thinner by a few thousandths.
3. Punch press. 2 ton, ideally, but nothing larger than 5 ton. Needs to have the ability to run continuous 1-punch-per-rotation.
4. Small air-feeders, like the RapidAir A2.
We're in north Idaho where 2x4s are abundant and machines are non-existent, so we're accustomed to having things trucked in from far away. Please PM me with machines or leads.
