Yasnac MX3 not reponding after tool table reset

I have a 1987 Matsuura 560v with a yasnac mx3 controller. I'm totally stumped. I had a problem during a tool change and received a 182 sequence alarm and a 424 tool table alarm. Between the manual and this forum I was able to clear both alarms. Now when I'm powered up I can't move any axis. There are no alarms. I'm able to move the tool carrousel by using the button on the side put tools in and out of the spindle edit code etc but no movement x,y or z with either manual jog or by using the home position switch. Any help would be most appreciated.

I'm not positive this will fix your problem but worth a try. Sometimes after alarms on the YASNAC I80 we have to turn on edit parameters hit reset then turn off edit parameters.

I did go thru and manually reset all the tools. I just was able to home the machine. Turns out that I hadn't properly homed the ATC arm. The former owner of the machine said that I needed to make sure the 3 LED's in the ATC gear box were lit. After rereading the manual I realized that #1020 bit 2 was 0 the manual says that it needs to be 1 to be a home. When I move the arm to where it reads 1 the light on the back sensor in the gear box shuts off. Do you have any idea if that's normal?

Hello Roger,
I saw your post yesterday, I'm sorry that I didn't respond sooner. I recently had a little scare on our 95' 510 VF. I'm not sure if it was your same alarm but our problem was a small spec of chip found its way onto the detector plate, by chance it was caught under the "LS21" or "LS22" sensor.
Excessive air blasts are not good, since this happened we brush away chips and never blast air or coolant near spindle/toolchanger.
