Have many older Delrin (Acetal)parts that need to be put back into service and they have slightly yellowed with time.

Anyone know of good way to bring the white back out. Tried alcohol, acetone - thinking about Crest Whitestrips.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Some plastics discolor from UV exposure (sun, fluorescent lights, etc.) and also from combustion by-products of some heating systems.

You may have to remove some material to get what you want. Perhaps auto abrasive compound ?

Scooter,
If the delrin is beginning to yellow that means the stuff is starting to chemically degrade it is probably brittle and their may be signs of cracking  if you look real close like the others said sunlight, UV, and combustion byproducts are hard on some plastics.
