Zeus dial calipers

Brought home some plunder from an estate sale yesterday.
Among the items was this dial caliper.
Zeus brand, made in Germany,. 300 mm ~ 12" capacity.
It looks to be a very fine tool.
I'm not finding much on the brand.
Anyone have some info on them?

I think Zeus was an East German tool company, had GDR on some micrometers
