Allied Machine Launches New Mobile-Friendly Content-Rich Website
User friendly navigation and online tools provide wealth of information and support
Dover, OH – Allied Machine & Engineering, a leading manufacturer of holemaking and finishing tooling systems, is excited to announce the launch of its new website, designed with user-friendly navigation, Smart Search functionality, a host of online product selection and design tools, and a vast digital library containing a wealth of information for distributors and end users. The mobile responsive design works seamlessly across all devices.
The new website highlights all Allied drilling, boring, reaming, burnishing, thread milling, and special product lines. The highly functional navigation offers a clean, professional, and modern look – filled with crisp high resolution images and videos that help customers select just what they need. Navigation is intuitive, with “app-like” features that eliminate cumbersome dropdown menus. Users can filter through the entire range of Allied products by application and view real life results by industry.
The content-rich site educates customers on product advantages and features to guide product selection. Individual landing pages are filled with product images, including close-ups and a new interactive 360° view. Also included are recommendations on which products are most suited for specific materials and industries. Information is available on actual product specifications, recommended cutting speeds and feeds, and additional helpful resources.
A special online tools section includes the new InstaCode™ thread mill programmer and the Insta-Quote™ custom tooling design aid, as well as other product selection tools and access to Wohlhaupter’s “Tool-Architect” design engine. The extensive digital library also includes other resources, including all Allied catalogs, product flyers, industry flyers, and operation manuals.
The ordering process received a major makeover, with new Smart Search functionality that is linked to a modern e-commerce cart-based system. Distributors will now be able to place orders as well as create and save wish lists on any device.
“Our customers need very specific, technical data and they want it quickly. Allied’s new website design makes it simple to find all of that important data and the corresponding product pertaining to each unique holemaking application. The entire process of product selection has never been easier,” says Dan Moore, Director of Marketing. “The 360° interactive viewer is quite useful in understanding the basics of how our products are manufactured and assembled.”
