ARCH® Cutting Tools Announces Regional Sales Manager Appointments
Bloomfield Hills, Mich., – ARCH® Cutting Tools announces organizational changes within its national sales organization to increase efficiency, enhance customer service, and develop a scalable platform for growth. Included in these changes are the appointments of Frank Whalen and Jonathan Wild to leadership roles as Regional Sales Managers in the Central Region and Eastern Region, respectively. Brent Broderick continues in his role as Regional Sales Manager – Western Region, with the inclusion of his existing region.
In announcing these organizational changes, Dino Fracassi, ARCH Cutting Tools Senior National Sales Director said, “I have confidence in Frank, Jonathan, and Brent; all three of them have unique backgrounds and expertise which will complement each other. This regional change will allow ARCH Cutting Tools to react and make real-time decisions for our customers.”
Whalen’s work with ARCH Cutting Tools began in 2015 with a predecessor company acquired by ARCH in 2019. He brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role; beginning in cutting tools distribution and the past six years on the manufacturing side of the industry. His Central Region responsibilities include supervising two employees, with his team serving customers in Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi.
Wild previously held the position of Vice President – Rhode Island Carbide, until that company was acquired by ARCH Cutting Tools in 2017. His passion for custom engineered solutions and customer service has been a primary focus since entering the trade more than 25 years ago. In addition, Wild is a long-term Adjunct Professor in the Physics & Engineering Department at a local college. He looks forward to working side-by-side with the entire ARCH Cutting Tools leadership team, putting his proven abilities in operations, sales, and business development to work, to achieve the organization’s goals within his role and responsibilities in the Eastern Region.
Broderick has 33 years of industry experience, from machinist to management. He spent six years with a tools sales organization that was acquired by ARCH Cutting Tools three years ago. At that time, he was appointed Western Region Sales Manager. His territory includes 24 states and three countries. He supervises four employees and works with three manufacturers’ representative agencies to provide timely service to ARCH Cutting Tools customers throughout his region.
All three Regional Sales Managers report to Fracassi. Whalen’s Central Region office is in the Cleveland area, Wild’s Eastern Region office is in Rhode Island, and Broderick’s Western Region office is in Indiana. This regional change will allow ARCH Cutting Tools to react and make real-time decisions for its customers, according to Fracassi.
