Meet Senior Application Specialist Mike Littlejohn
Mike Littlejohn has filled a position of Senior Application Specialist at GWS Tool Group.
In this role, Mike’s responsibility will focus on supporting machine OEMs and strategic partners across North America, working to help optimize machining strategies to improve productivity for U.S. manufacturers.
Mike Littlejohn has supported GWS Tool Group on a contract basis for over 10 years in an applications role. Mike has owned and operated Project 3 Solutions supporting machine tool builders and end users in programming support, application optimization, and tool selection. Prior to Project 3 Solutions, Mike spent years working as a programmer in the automotive racing and aerospace component manufacturing industries.

Meet Technology Director Paul Schulte
Paul Schulte has filled a position of Technology Director at GWS Tool Group.
In this role, Paul will be tasked with evaluating GWS machine technology and manufacturing processes with the goal of creating greater efficiencies and better defining best practices where needed. Enhancing productivity while ensuring GWS manufacturing capabilities and technologies remain ahead of the industry curve will be central to his mandate. Paul will be working with general managers at each location as well as other corporate technical staff to help facilitate the implementation of both new and internally transferred improvements.
Prior to joining GWS, Paul was the Vice President of Manufacturing at an industrial manufacturing company. He brings 35 years of manufacturing and engineering experience in the cutting tool industry.

Meet Application Specialist Colin Arnold
Colin Arnold has filled a position of Application Specialist at GWS Tool Group.
In this role, Colin will be responsible for supporting GWS distributors and key metalworking customers in the application of GWS high-performance cutting tool solutions. Cutting tools from GWS include both standard and purpose-built tooling, such as end mills, form tools, step tools, drills, reamers, taps, PCD tipped tooling along with countless variations of special turning inserts.
Prior to joining GWS, Colin has been in the industrial cutting tool industry for the last eight years. He previously managed territories in the Midwest as a salesperson for a large industrial manufacturer and is exceptional at building relationships with distributors and end users alike. “Colin’s extensive background in milling products will be a great asset for us in the New England market,” said John Kiiffner, Director of Sales – Northeast. “With this addition we will be well poised to serve the market structure with stability further advancing the GWS Tool Group portfolio of products throughout the territory.”
For GWS, Colin will be responsible for business development and application support for our channel partners and end users in the New England territory including CT, NH, MA, ME, RI and VT. He will be working out of our GWS-MA facility in Springfield, MA.
