Celebrates 3rd Birthday With a Win

MASON, OH – The UP! Network has been awarded a MobileWebAward from the Web Marketing Association (WMA), winning the Best Manufacturing Mobile Application award in the “Best of Industry” category.

The UP! Network celebrates its third birthday in January and is a testament to how listening to your users and making continuous improvements to your product or service is imperative to growth and success. “We are thrilled to receive this award as we celebrate three years in business,” said David Rhodes, The UP! Network Director of Sales & Customer Success. Awards were given at two levels within each of the categories. Those that received the highest average score within a given category were awarded a “Best of Industry” MobileWebAward. “This award is further acknowledgement of the strength of our team and how far we have come in our journey,” said Rhodes.

During these three years, UP! has experienced tremendous growth in the number of users while making significant improvements to the technology in the areas of connectivity, chat interaction, and real-time video conferencing.  These enhancements have all been in response to the needs of machine tool service requesters and providers. “Our core vision is to make it easier to connect service requesters and field service providers to facilitate efficient, effective machine repair,” said Rhodes. “Upgrades to our platform are ongoing as we strive to provide a depth of service and reliability that our users can count on each time they connect.”

As a pioneer in the arena of industrial field service, The UP! Network was born from an awareness of the need to reduce downtime and assist manufacturers in finding service at a time when there exists a shortage of skilled industrial technicians. With the video-chat option and ability for real-time interaction, remote machine diagnostics and repair can begin before a service provider is on site, saving both time and money. Entering this next year, UP! continues to be at the forefront of industrial field service solutions as they continue to evolve and grow with their users.

About the Web Marketing Association and the MobileWebAwards

The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 and is comprised of internet marketing, PR, online advertising, and web site design professionals with one thing in common – to raise the bar and improve the quality of marketing and communications across the internet and mobile devices. With awards for both website and mobile development, the WMA seeks to recognize those in the industry who are contributing to it’s strong creativity and extensive growth. The Web Marketing Association’s 6th annual MobileWebAwards are based upon the success of its long running international WebAward Competition for Website Development and the Internet Advertising Competition. All Web Marketing Association award programs recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing the most effective online marketing programs on the Internet today. Entrants benefit from assessment of their marketing efforts by a professional judging panel. Apps were judged across a range of criteria including design, creativity, content, ease of use, impact, use of the medium, and interactivity to determine the winners. The competition was open to all organizations involved in the development and execution of mobile web sites and apps for organizations, businesses and governments.
