410 Stainless Steel Grinding

I’m grinding an angle in a bore in a large stainless steel piece and I am wondering what is the best type of abrasive wheel to use.The diameter is about 12 inches and about 14 inches deep.Im using a GGL 900 CNC lathe with a grinding attachment.Any tips or info would be appreciated.Thanks Dan Myles,Hamilton, Ontario,Canada

A carbide bell cutter may help for roughing close to final size.

I’m almost at size just been to know what type of abrasive wheel to try as it’s a really hard material to grind ...but thank you for your input ...

Something in the ceramic family from Norton (Purple or Blue in color) works fairly well. Easily found McMaster. They don't load up nearly as much as aluminum oxide.
