I have a S618HG surface grinder. Yesterday I picked up a motorized 5C workhead, also made by K.O. Lee, same green color. Later K.O. Lee machines were blue but older ones were green.

The base on the motorized workhead (B943C) really needs to be painted. Have you ever tried to color match a commercially available paint to the old K.O. Lee green color?

I didn't try to match that yucky green when I cleaned up my KO Lee T & C grinder. Rustoleum makes great rattle cans, a couple of light-medium gray worked perfectly. Even repainted both the motorized head and sensitive head with it too. Now everything matches. Sorry. Ken

Take a piece off the machine, clean it. Take it to your nearest Sherwin-Williams or competing real paint store. They can scan the actual part and compute the closest possible color match in their paint system. People do this all the time.
