I have a grinding application that requires mounting a mist collector to the top of a CNC machine. We will most likely need a centrifugal mist collector.
We currently use Losma collectors, but they tend to die on us.
Other options I've found on the internet are Donaldson or MistAway.

Has anyone found a good quality mist collector for use in grinding applications with synthetic coolant?

We have several Aerocology units on grinders. they have been very good.

Now that Donaldson/Torit has bought them out we recently installed some of these on our large machines.

I have been happy with them.

I have 2 mist collection units.
A Mistaway on a small enclosed cnc lathe. It is quiet, very reasonable cost, easy to maintain, did I say quiet. Its suck rate is low but works well on an enclosed volume. I only run it at about 1/2 power.

Also, a Royal filtermist FX1200 on a open surface grinder --Okamoto 12 x 24. Works well sucking up through a small hood. More expensive, maintaince has not been a issue and is loud.

I believe Mistaway has a free return option?

Both made in the USA.

If you have the time try out the Mistaway. They will work with you.
