I am resurrecting a Boyar-Schultz Profile Grinder Model No 1. I cannot find any info on line. I want to replace the flat spindle belt but have no part number and can't find a good source of the thin flat woven belts like those used on tool post grinders. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a picture of the little guy. It is a well made tool and is now in great condition except for the belt.

Depending on HP an automotive serpentine belt would work. I run mine grooves down, without issue. But the motor is 5hp, so little loss, if 1/4 hp likely too much frictional losses,

Try QTC in NY, I buy timing type belts and sprockets, gears ect.

I have one of those puppies...rescued it from a scrap heap...literally. It had been partially parted out, and had none of the drive wheels...I made them from aluminum plate, grooved them and use large O-rings as drive belts.

That was over 20 years ago...still on the bench.
