Default Brown & Sharpe No.5 Cylindrical Grinder Infeed Stuck

Have an older No.5 that infeed handle was run too far back and now handle is locked up. The plunge still works and will come in and out but handle will not turn when head is back or in. Anyone have any ideas how to get the handle to engage again. I tried using a pry bar in the back but nothing budges.

If it is anything like the #13 the screw is in a spring loaded acme nut, this is seemingly done to help with any backlash that may develop over time. Best bet is to start to remove covers and figure out what is happening, prying on it is potentially a quick way to damage what is there.
