Cincinnati 2u Universal Grinder help.

Doubt you can pull just the motor unless there is a hole in the housing under the motor to disconnect the impeller shaft . You have to pull it by removing the bolts around the lower flange. That's not a dry connection if I remember correctly- you better plan on draining your coolant before removing the pump or you might well have a big surprise on your hands.
 
Update- There is no shaft seal on this one. Just length of the shaft keeps the solution separated from the motor. There is a nut on the bottom of the impeller and the shaft housing slides off from the impeller end. I indeed had to drain some of the grinding fluid to take the pump housing.
 
Thanks John. Good to know. I dropped the pump motor off today at the motor shop and they think it will be quit pricey to rewind. I wanted to sell the grinder but this may change things. Thanks again, Darrel
