I'm in the process of planning a rebuild on some equipment.One of the pieces used is a 20mm od x 14mm id dom tube x 32" long(low carbon steel) that needs to be ground approx .013" on the od.
It's a small job(20 pieces) and just wondering approximately what the cost would be, assuming I can find someone to do them?
The surface needs to be smooth enough for Garloc DU bushings(Teflon coated sintered bronze) to run against.If I go that route I can get the required call out for finish.
I meant to say centerless grinding.
