Hi Everyone, I just joined this site as I am trying to get a B&S model 13 Grinder apart to fix a minor oil leak.
I need to remove what B&S calls the "Table Hand Feed Case", which is the casting about a foot square on the front of the machine.
I'll try to attach pictures.
There were six 1/2 NC cap screws holding it on, but there is still something holding it. I drove in a couple very thin fox wedges but it still seems tight. It might only be dried gasket compound or sticky dowel pins, but I hope to find out for sure and avoid damaging the unit.
I took off the table to check for a screw going in from the back but saw no such screw.
There is also a shaft inside that has to be disconnected, I haven't fiddled with it yet.
Can anyone tell me the secret?
I do have the manual for it that shows the parts, but it doesn't go into repair nor have an exploded diagram.
Thanks for any help.
