How old are my Thompson grinders?

We have 2 Thompson F2 surface grinders at work. I'm told that one is about 50 years old and that the other is a little newer. Is there any way to find the year of manufacture?

Serials (the kind stamped into machined cast iron) would be a start

Machines built in the '50 to '69 time frame have a six digit serial - the first two digits is the year of manufacture

Looked all over both machines could not find any numbers stamped into the castings. The only number I could find was on a red and silver name plate riveted to the front of one of the grinders. It says "Thompson Grinder" and the number "C00 143" stamped underneath. The other grinder was missing the name plate and I could not find any other number on it.

Mag chuck size would be a clue, as there are different surface grinders i.e. 8” x 24”, and so on;
