Jones & Shipman parts

I need a new switching valve for my J&S model 1310 cylindrical grinder. Does anyone know where to go for parts? So far, J&S has been unresponsive. The valve leaks continually and the table stalls at the change point, so I am thinking I need to replace it.

Andmar is good, I have bought parts from them for my J&S 540. Another place I have bought J&S stuff from in the UK is Jubilee. Write to Andrew Pope <[email protected]>. Both were were reasonable, easy to work with, and drama-free.

Have you tried disassembling and rebuilding the valve?

I've dealt with " Jubilee " also. Another one I can recommend.

J &S valve rebuilding

Thanks all for the help. Once I get the valve out, I can see if I can rebuild it. I am concerned about down time since the grinder is in constant use (believe it or not, for manufacturing a scraping knife).
If it can be rebuilt, that is good to know.
