Removing/Installing table drive cable on Mitsui 200MH

When I moved mine I stretched a bungee cord under the grinder and fastened the ends to the cable. Did not leave any slack at all in the cable.

It's been quite a while since I had to and my memory isn't clear but IIRC it's just a simple hook at one end that's threaded into the casting. Back the jam nuts off, pull the hook out and dis-attach the cable loop. The cable should come off the drum then. It's a 4-6 handed job but the table can then be lifted off. Good luck with the move.

Detaching is easy. Reattaching can be fussy because you need to keep the cable wraps around the drum tidy (not laying over one another). That's easiest to manage by putting a small weight or other source of tension on the ends of the cable. The actual fastening of the cable ends to the table ends is trivial.
