The patent search only had a generic image of the Weldon style end mill fixture. The cams are ground with a decreasing radius to a sharp rise followed by a short flat. That are marked, see the pics. The spindle takes a 4c collet, there were a couple fractional sizes in the box. The tilt base was tagged as such, no other tags on the fixture. The single event nature of the cam didn’t seem compatible with a multi flute tool. I have a Hibco tap grinder that adapts for sharpening 2,3 and 4 flute taps. Single flute counter sinks ?

As it is it appears to grind radial relief on single flute cutters (contersinks). There may have been other cams available for multi-flute cutters. That would make it much more versatile. I did notice the fixture was sitting on a sine-bar base. That eliminates the need to set the cutter below the wheel center (or above depending on what direction one is grinding).

Single flute grinding looks like the best choice given the cam profiles. I have a 9/16” 4c collet on the way. Then I can use the collets from my Black Diamond drill grinder to chuck up some counter sinks and see what happens...
