Hello,
I recently acquired a Studer S20-12 (1984). It has an issue with the rapid feed (transverse) leadscrew Nut mechanism. I am having difficulty in removing the leadscrew. The screws have been removed from the leadscrew flange and the leadscrew assembly is loose from the machine. However, I have tried backing (unscrewing) the leadscrew out of the nut but it only goes so far and then gets tight. Any advice on how to get the leadscrew out would be greatly appreciated.
