    If you come across carbide inserts for a 60-degree female center please post those here. I would be happy to make the centers myself from those.

    I thought most grinders used Jarno taper, at least, my old Norton universal does)
    My (Studer) grinder is 60+ years old and uses a short MT5 in the headstock and a standard MT2 in the tailstock. As far as I can tell they used these combinations for decades and continue to use them on some machines.
