I am making a part for a project. This part is not perfectly cylindrical and I was wondering what toolpaths I would use and on either my 2 axis lathe or 3 axis mill. All units are in inches. Thank you.
You might get more response if you post this in the "General" sub-forum, or perhaps the "CNC Machining" sub-forum, rather than the "3D Printing" sub-forum.
Assuming you're starting with 3" round, there is very little on that part that would benefit from a turning op. It would all be done by 3D machining on the VMC.
