I didn't know they made a 13 EE, so how good is the 13 compared to the 10?

Three inches of swing and THIRTY FOUR inches more long axis travel with similar beef, continuously variable speed, and attention to detail good.

10EE 10" (12.5) * 20" (30" too, but rare..)

13EE 13" (15.5) * 54"

Both with DC drive.

OTOH, puts it into the seriously competitve "zone" of typical 14" & 16" X 40" ++ as far as economic decision-makeing, new purchaser-wise.

Couple of MMT veterans on PM might know how many were made or sold?

Did we not learn anything from Spinal Tap ?.....:D

Seriously, tnx for posting, it's a rare one fur sure.

IIRC MckeanMachinery had a larger lathe in a "Monarch 1000" but has since sold.

I think it sported the same headstock electricals, as well as on the carriage as you posted.
