As mention in another topic I disassembled my tail stock as it is unneeded for the job I'm doing so thought I would do some maintenance as well as a Paint Job! The front of the clamping mechanism is held with a pin thru an eye bolt screwed into the top of the front end of the tail stock. How is that adjusted? I know the nut connected to the lever in the back of the T stock and is easy to adjust for clamping force. Since I had to remove the eye bolt to separate the top and bottom of the T stock how do I install it so it's correct?
