I operate the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum near Columbus, Ohio. We are installing a new exhibit/diorama that includes a depiction of a typical inventor/developer's machine shop from about 1900. It is meant to typify what guys like Henry Ford, the Wright Brothers, Glen Curtiss, the founders of Harley & Davidson MIGHT have had in their first shop.
The exhibit is up for two years. I would like to purchase or borrow, made pre-1900, a treadle or peddle lathe (Barnes?), a crank drill press, floor mount, tooling including drill bits, lathe tools, files, tool bits, taps, dies, wrenches, screwdrivers, in general, all the bits and pieces a couple of backyard early inventors might have gathered to do their work.

For this static display the machines do not have to operate, but should look good. They will be kept in an air conditioned space, and not handled.

Let me know if you have leads that could help me borrow or puchase any of the above.
