Age of a Brown and Sharpe Micrometer #45

I just picked up what looks like an unused B&S #45 micrometer. The case it came in has no wear, neither does the device itself. I failed trying to research what year ranges they made these. I know it's not super old because it doesn't have a patent date like some of the real old ones. What interested me is that it ranges from 0-2" because it has a movable section.

Is there some information on what year ranges B&S made their different caliper models?

I also have a B&S # 45 .
You can read what some of the other contributors posted about mine in this old thread .

Maybe some of them will drop by to add some more about yours or you could try sending one of them a private message or email through the forum .
Sadly Antique Mac passed away some time ago.
If you can post some pictures of yours it might be helpful .
I can’t help more than that myself.
Regards ,
Jim
