Picked up a nice AMT 253 Drill Press at a good price and in good condition. Or so I thought. It appears that the cable that controls the up and down motion on the spindle chuck assembly has shredded where it is attached to the spindle.
There is a tiny slot screw holding it in that I can't seem to remove that holds it in place. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Also, how hard is it to remove to entire spindle chuck assembly? Thank you.
