Anyone recognize this drill press? - Identification

Hey guys there’s a drill press for sale local. The guy doesn’t know anything about it. Has it listed as “end mill” I’m pretty sure it’s a drill press though. Just wanted to figure out what it is so I can look into it. Thanks!

I can add 2 more pictures if needed but they don’t really show anything more.

It looks like it might be a Knight .
I think there are several Models.

Later catalogs say 700 lbs. for the No.1.
This one is probably less since it is an early one and most of the original drive is gone.

Which reminds me I need to finish scraping in the saddle and get it in the garage.

Guy says it doesn’t have a spindle taper?

I see straight shanks and set screws on the table.

Anyone know what’s going on with that?

Does it actually take straight shanks or is there maybe an adapter in it?

Hard to say. It should have a No.7 Brown & Sharpe taper, but someone could have changed or modified it.
Ask the seller to lower the spindle and take a few close pictures of it to see if there is a knock out slot in it.
