I have an American Tool Works lathe, from about 1920 (ish)
Its a 16" tool room lathe, thats been in my possession for about 8 years.
Its now been converted to a "pattern lathe" i.e. all the feed mechanims stripped off.
A machinist friend came by and declared the bed is nowhere near good enough shape to use as a metal lathe any more.
While I hate to desicrate an old machine, it will be a pure wood turning machine from now.
So there is a plethora of gears, lead screw etc that I will not need and dont want to keep.
If you want parts, please contact me by EMAIL at [email protected]
I do not montor mail here on this board.
Location: Toronto, Ont
Cost: free, just arrange or pay shipping.
Thanks
