I see it is an 18 speed. Does any one know what model it is, and what it weights. Thanks

Its a 16 (18 1/2 actual) X 54" 18 speed with hard ways (see H in serial). Weighed about 5200 plus with the 2 ft longer bed. Most were 1000 top end, with likely a few later ones a tad more. 38XXX serial says early fifties. Either L1 or D1-6" spindle nose

You can tell the 18 speed from the 12 by the oil sight on the range gear box next to the QC gear box

Has at least 7 1/2 HP

Says sales tax is 10%. Actual sales tax in Orange County, NY is 8.125%. A little judicious rounding--load that on top of the auctioneer's 18% fee and they're making almost 20%, not bad. Looks like a beautiful machine though.
