just saw a really nice Bradford lathe listed on ebay. These are very well built machines. Most of the time when you see one for sale it's been outside for years and ready to scrap. I have one that was handed down from my Dad many years ago that came from the local Naval plant. It's amazing to me how smooth this lathe is which I'm sure the weight has a lot to due with it. I've run a number of lathes in the 40yrs I worked as a machinist including American Pacemakers [which you can't compare anything to] lol, and I would say with the exception of a 10ee a Bradford would compare to any Monarch that I every ran. It seems to be priced quite high but it is a nice looking machine. Just sharing in anyone is interested. Sorry, I don't know how to share a link.

My good friend Robert has a Bradford. I agree, super nice machine, definitely in the same league as a Monarch. Robert passed away last month, so his Bradford will be available once we get the estate settled.
