I'm putting a recently purchased WW2 era B&S 1YB horizontal mill through it's paces and I for the life of me cannot find a lock for the table left/right traverse. I'll be doing some boring shortly and would like to lock the table down. It is a tapered gib, with adjusting screws on both ends of the gib. I could use the gib adjusters for locking, but it would be tedious to do this for every setup. Any ideas of what I might be missing? Is it unusual for a mill of this era to come without a lock for the table?
