That was the D. Picking & Co. My wife and I were there in '15. In the unbelievably cluttered office sat Helen Alice Picking Neff. She came to work every day all prettied up and proper...Very proper. She was 99 years old and as sharp as a tack. Plus she was such a sweetie pie. The place was only open due to her and her trust supplying the finances. She said when she passes the city will probably tear the place down, due to it's condition, safety issues and all the bureaucratic nonsense. Looks to be someone bought it? For some reason they couldn't get historic status.
