I'm slowly bringing an old Burke 126A horizontal mill back to life. One of the few parts I am missing for it is the "business end" of the collet closing kit for the spindle. I have the draw bar (pictured bottom right of the machine) and matching 3C collets, but I would appreciate if anyone could provide me with pictures and dimensions of the adapter that seats into the front end of the spindle. It would save me some reverse engineering. :)

Thanks.

You've got a Burke #4 The spindle is B&S #9 the vertical head (which was an optional accessory) was 3C It was possible to use 3C collets with the spindle but you need a B&S9 to 3C adapter.

And then later you can look for a Millrite mill and the older ones had a B&S #9 spindle taper also. :) Ask me how I know all this. :)
