Cochrane-Bly Filing Machine

HI Everyone,
I am a park ranger at the Thomas Edison National Historical Park. We have a Cochrane-Bly No. 2 Filing Machine on our site. Does anyone know anything about it. Does anyone have one of these around that is still operational. I was trying to find a video of one of these working. Thanks for everyones help.

We welcome an NPS Park ranger from the Thomas Edison National Historical Park. Took me a minute or two to realize that "tae" were Thomas Alva Edison's initials.

If you need files for an antique filing machine, you might be able to obtain New, Old Stock (NOS) files from:

Do not expect them to know exactly what you need - take a sample up there and match it up yourself. (My experience was that the young men at the counter knew about popular modern items, but did not appreciate the NOS treasures that were in their store.)

Long time

I too have a Cochrane & Bly No2. I would love to trade notes. maybe we can help each other. Not to many of these around it seems like.
