Yeah somebody else posted this recently so I wasted 25 mins watching it then. Interesting to see in the opening shot the tool mounted upside down on the back of the cross slide to take heavy cuts.
I used to work with an Hungarian guy who was a shaft turning expert. On long narrow shafts he mounted the tool upside down in the tool post and ran the lathe in reverse. I couldn't knock the results he got. He'd also put a loose bearing race just dangling on the shaft to cut down the noise from vibration.
I think there are several Colchester promo films on the tube......If nothin else ,tossers will learn how to talk proper from watching.Last time I was in England,millenials were talking like Kingston ,Jamaica brothel touts.....very surprising,and somewhat upsetting,to me.
