Neat old mics are pretty cheap right now. I have been collecting for 40 years and some really good stuff sells for nothing. But other can bring good money, just depends on who is shopping that day.

That is very cool. I very caually collect oddball mic, none especailly old and it all started with a Shardlow "anglo-metric", next was a NIB Slocumb digital. They make great desk-top distractions!
