There has been some background chatter on this from at least one antique machine tool aficionado. (Not me)

As I understand it, it is being pursued, and by this time may actually be spoken for.

I'll let the principles fill us in on their plans. I'm a bystander.

This lathe DOES need some work to bring it back into the early 19th century. It's a project.

What good looking castings these are.
I'll look forward to hearing more.

The deal for the lathe is going forward.
I was getting a little worried as I had not heard from the seller for a few days.
They were having WiFi problems. Two young guys own it together.
They said they found some more parts for the lathe and will send pictures.
I asked about the counterweight. They are not sure if it is still there. It might have been scrapped out.
They were cleaning out and scrapping things.
