CXA Mores taper modification

I had a Dorian #3 Morse Taper tool holder for my CXA toolpost I never used since I see no reason to use a drill chuck or tapered shank drill in the toolholder. On ebay I seen a nice set of #3 Morse taper collets. I purchased the set and proceeded to modify my toolholder. I inserted a new unused Morse #3 to Jacobs drill chuck shank after cleaning out the waxy protective coating and used the center hole in the end of the arbor to indicate the location. I then used a few hand resharpened carbide end mills to change the slot to round. I could have stopped at 1/2" but continued until I was at the same diameter as the end of the taper. Removed the burr with a diamond file. Inserted the collet that ended about 3/4" from the end, inserted a boring bar pulling the collet tight with a hex head bolt and washer. Worked great! Next I plan to make a better short draw bar but for now the washer and bolt works! I see no need to supply photos but will if requested.
