In the good old days (before Hardinge bought them), a phone call to the spares department with the serial number would produce the year/date of manufacture. I don't know if that still applies.
I don't have the machine delivered just yet, so no pictures. I do know the serial number is just under 40,000. The machine has a ball bearing head and the downfeed handwheel is not the flat type.
