Flather 14 and Excelsior 20

After many years of watching the various machining Youtube channels and looking up answers on this site my son and I finally started building out the Metal Working area of our shop. First with a '91 Bridgeport 2J2 and just last week a Flather 14 lathe and an Excelsior 20 Drill Press that came along with the Flather. I'll probably sell the Excelsior but we dug into the Flather with zeal. It has been so much fun tearing into it learning how things work, reverse engineering the apron and figuring out how it all works. Every moving part was pretty stuck but mostly gunk, not rusted in place. We cleaned all of the major surfaces and bushings except the main spindel. It was tight so why disrupt the babbit. Back gear has a few teeth missing but other than that I can't find anything else wrong with the unit. Based on what I can find this appears to be circa 1902 - certainly before the 1906/07 quick change option.

That was nice of someone to turn the cross feed handle in to protect it. On my lathe they just broke them off to keep them out of the way.
