Refurbished Rusnok 2000 “No Backlash” X Y Crosslide Table

Built for Rusnok 80/850 Fixture mill, it is known for it’s overbuilt robustness and “zero backlash” movements.
Rusnok now owned by Electro Mechano.
This table would be perfect for any process where tight, precise movements are necessary.
Table Base Bolt pattern 6-3/4 x 3-1/8 inches (see pics)
*** Table was ground, inspected, and frosted/flaked by a professional machine restorer ***
I found an almost pristine specimen Rusnok 2000 Crosslide Table, which barely needed working over, and finessed it to maintain it’s stability, with no major changes.
I don’t care about paint, and left the original paint and patina where possible.
-Before work, the table was measured on a surface plate from the table surface to box ways to less than .002 over entire 13 inch surface.
-After work, the table was measured on a surface plate from the table surface to box ways to less than .001 over entire 13 inch surface.
-Less than .001 was removed from original table surface at all.
-X way flaked (grinding unnecessary) (see pics)
-X adjustable gib flaked (grinding unnecessary) (see pics)
-Both X table-box-gibs flaked (grinding unnecessary) (see pics)
Both screws, nuts, gibs adjusted (according to factory literature) for smooth action through whole movement of table.
Movements are perfectly smooth, effortless, and “glassy”, while maintaining stiff table movements due to tight tolerances and oil retention in frosting/flaking.

-Table is VERY THICK and heavy.
-Single 5/8 T-Slot (same as Bridgeport)
-Total height 4-15/16 inches
-Table Travel (Y x X) 6 x 4-1/2

-Double-nut backlash adjustment
-Robust 3/4-10 precision ground feed screws
-Two thrust roller bearings for each screw, for all directions of movement
-Wide Box Ways “approaching jog bore precision” according to the company literature
-Lever locks for X and Y
-Lubrication through oil fittings and significant oil passages [factory]ground into ways
-Zero-resettable dials, 0-100 thousandths per turn
