Default Greener No 4 arbor press

This old gem followed me time today. Been looking for a while for an American made vintage ratcheting arbor press and just was not have good luck with driving distance until last week. Have a look. I will be dissembling it, inspecting, fixing anything that may be an issue and paint. Then, put it to work! img_3117.jpgimg_3118.jpgimg_3114.jpgimg_3112.jpgimg_3110.jpg

I found one about two hours away about 6 weeks ago. At almost 1200 lbs, it's beefy for sure. My wife calls it the nut cracker.

I have a #3 Greenerd and love it but sure wish it had a ratchet on it instead of just the sliding bar handle.. Great for bushings, seals, bearings, and lathe mandrels..Ramsay 1

They have evergreen's on the Aland Islands?

Worked at a shop some time ago that had a #4 and a #5, best presses there are in my opinion.
