the hammer swing

pretty cool. Eastern Europe, maybe? those look like decorative pieces, to me, for a fence or something, but I suppose they could be some kind of machine part, hard to tell. You would need to run a LOT of those to feel like you needed that swing- I often forge multiple parts on my hammer, in time increments up to say an hour at a time, and find that standing up, and being able to move around, is much more useful than sitting down would be. I suppose if that guy makes 100 of those every day, the swing would be handy.
 
I think I saw an old video of a swing being used in Sheffield. This one looks fancier, but less mobile. A lot of metal stuff was mass produced by hand, so a smith might be doing the same job for days. Sitting down starts to look pretty good then.

The second guy had an air jet mounted on the hammer to clear scale off the die. I kinda like that.
