Hi all, wondered if anyone could tell me what this is. I'm clearing my dads workshop and I haven't a clue what most of the stuff is. Any help would be most appreciated. I recently sold his Myford ML7 lathe and wondered if it was an attachment for that. Thanks in advance

I think it is an attachment for a tool and cutter grinder. In the USA, Brown and Sharpe made a very similar attachment for their No. 13 grinder. Page from 1921 B&S catalog is shown below. Yours is probably for a UK or Continental machine.

A model engineer might be tempted by a low price to get such an attachment with a view to making it into a milling attachment for a Myford lathe.

Hi, I would sell but I've no idea what would be a fair price. Can anyone give any thoughts on this? It's in its original wooden box.
Thanks Gill
