Help with lathe info- National Brake and Electric Co (was Need help identifying!)

I just got an old lathe given to me and am trying to figure out a little about it. I can’t seem to find anything about the brand on the web. It says “National Brake and Electric Co.” on the legs and the tag with the settings. If anybody has any info that would be great.

BEAR brake lathes look similar to engine lathes for about 10 seconds. Sturdy beasts and not easily re purposed. They are strong things for what they did.

Its an old engine lathe. It has a "semi" QC gear box - you can tell by its listing of multiple "stud" gears

Unlikely any info will turn up - especially "manuals"

I found this....it's a turret lathe... not much help ...but better then nothing
