Hello well after buying a 16 x 6 tiebar 4 years ago i finely had some time to work on it this winter. I just thought i would share some pictures of the progress with you guys. i know i would not have gotten it done without everything i have learned on this forum. so here are a few picks. Its Alive!

Also i did not take apart the apron yet but it seems like the cone clutch for the longitudinal feed is stuck or seized anyone have an idea how to free it up thanks

Probably have to rig up a tool to bump it loose - pair of hard wood jaws to fit knob and on out from there so you can un-stick it

almost never stuck ENGAGED

Hi John it actually is stuck engaged the crossfeed knob turns clockwise to loosen does the this one turn clockwise to loosen also

As near as I know all such clutches are "right - tight" and "left- loose"

It should be counter-clockwise to disengage the feed.
