I was looking for a welding fixture table for an upcoming CNC router build and a friend of mine in the used machinery business in the bay area had this incredibly gigantic milling table laying around that he sold to me for the "friend price" since he was closing down his warehouse. I built a stand for it, but would love to know what kind of machine it came off of.

Dimensions are 96" long, 15" wide, ~4.5" thick not including the dovetail. It is quite heavy. The T slots are 5/8" wide. The table has sloped coolant drains with provisions for chip screens.

Of course, now that I have this giant table, I can't help but consider building a gigantic, ridiculous CNC machine to go with it...

Where's the big table?

My central shop work table is one half of a 30" X 30' x 12" thick t-slotted box angle plate that was made for a 30' travel planer mill. It was cut in half later in life and my half was turned into a 30" x 15' table.

The table on one of my VMC's is 3' by 7'. and that's just a little 26x60 travel 40K lb guy.
